Massimo Bottura’s first restaurant outside Italy has opened at W Dubai – The Palm

The reigning ‘World’s 50 Best’ chef Massimo Bottura’s restaurant has opened its doors in Dubai. Torno Subito opened up at W Dubai – The Palm on February 10.

Set on the west crescent of Palm Jumeirah, right next to the newly opened Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai, the new hotel offically opened last week. 

His restaurant Osteria Francescana in Italy is current;y at the top of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list for 2018.The three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Modena, which opened in 1995, is world-famous. It was voted number one in the world in 2016, and this year reclaimed its top spot on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. 

Torno Subito will be a first restaurant outside of Italy for the chef, and it promises to “take guests on a journey back to 1960s Italy, where the vibe is sophisticated and social, but laid-back”.

The name means “I’ll be right back” and it’s what Italian restauranteurs hang in the window when they’re taking an afternoon break.

The restaurant will be open for both lunch and dinner, and there will be dining areas indoors, as well as al fresco on the terrace or beach.
