There’s a jazz celebrity in town, so get ready to swing into the weekend.
Eddie Cole, the great-nephew of Jazz legend, Nat King Cole, is in Dubai and will be performing with The Samvel Gasparyan Trio at The Green Room on January 9 and 10. With an incredible family legacy, he is an accomplished jazz pianist, singer and drummer.
Both his parents are also in the music industry — his mother Laura Cole, an opera singer, and his father Eddie Cole Sr., a multi-instrumentalist who has worked with the likes of Ray Charles, Chaka Khan and Natalie Cole.
Cole will be performing at the newly opened The Green Room in Dubai’s City Walk this weekend on January 9 and 10.
The Green Room opened its doors late last year and is a concept by John Gillespie and Adam Long, both with a huge passion for jazz. The club is right above Galvin Bistrot & Bar and the décor down to the drinks is inspired by the 1920s.
