From yacht parties to live-streaming his helicopter ride around the city to that ‘classic’ Burj Al Arab shot and watching Dubai‘s blockbuster New Year’s Eve fireworks, Cristiano Ronaldo is on the ultimate winter getaway in Dubai.
He also sent his fans into a frenzy after posting a picture with Dubai’s crown prince Sheikh Hamdan.
Portugal and Juventus football star Cristiano Ronaldo, who set a new goal record this past year, has been spotted bringing in 2019 with his family in Dubai.
Ronaldo will lead a star-studded line-up in Dubai this week for the 10th Globe Soccer Awards at Madinat Jumeirah that will be held on Thursday (January 3).
He’s also in the running to winning his fifth Best Player Award this year. Other stars set for the red carpet include FIFA President Gianni Infantino, FIFA Deputy Secretary General Zvonimir Boban, coaches Fabio Capello and Didier Deschamps, Juventus Chief Football Officer Fabio Paratici, Brazilian legends Ronaldinho and Ronaldo di Lima, FIFA World Cup winner Blaise Matuidi and former referee Pierluigi Collina, all of whom will be involved in the Dubai International Sports Conference.

While in town, Ronaldo posted a slew of pictures on his Instagram account and is in the city with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and son Cristiano Junior.
Surely, a visit to the Burj Khalifa is on the footballer’s agenda as well.
