Ryan Reynolds doesn’t pull any punches.

He regularly makes fun of his wife, Blake Lively, a favour she often happily returns. He once tore apart co-star Josh Brolin in a live roast. And now, it seems the fashion industry’s appetite for tiny sunglasses are in his crosshairs.

Via Instagram, the Deadpool star posted a selfie ‘trying out’ the latest trend for a supposed “$19,000.” The response was as expected.

What’s more, it’s not the first time Reynolds has targeted the divisive shades, posting a similar photo in June with the caption: “I’m really into the whole tiny sunglasses trend. Thanks for your support everyone!” Very droll.

For those who share similar skepticism, know that they’re not going anywhere soon. Balenciaga, Vetements, and Calvin Klein are just three brands to push tiny sunglasses over the last year, and the longer the industry perseveres, the more likely you are to see them on the high street (or, more likely, the nearest Supreme queue).

The jury’s out, even if Reynolds has already made up his mind.
