Casey Neistat is the most well-respected content creator on YouTube.
While he doesn’t have the largest following (a mere 8.3 million people), he’s often referred to as the ‘gold standard’ when it comes to creating movies on the internet. That’s why Casey was invited to the inaugural VIDXB, the region’s biggest celebration of content creators and online video.
Having opened the show with a keynote address, there wasn’t much for Casey Neistat to do during his stopover tour of Dubai. Until Esquire Middle East got involved.
Eager to take Casey Neistat beyond the glitz and glam of Dubai’s bustling skyline, we picked him up in Dubai’s version of an off-roader and travelled out past Al Qudra Lakes in search for some perfect dunes for sandboarding.
