Martin Lawrence explained the term “Quality Time” to Will Smith in the epic movie Bad Boys, effectively cementing it as part of pop culture. We all want a bit of quality time or get gunned for not giving or getting enough from loved ones, the inconvenient truth stands, dinner table conversations have been hijacked by our smartphones.
Lenovo Mobile Business Group has the solution, its free Android-based application ‘Hadia Time’ in partnership with Motorola. The app facilitates Motorola to donate data to our often less fortunate migrant worker population. For every minute your smartphone stays untouched between 7-10 pm free data is transferred to less fortunate workers, so that they can connect with their families and you spend more time with yours.
Hadia Time first appeared back in 2016 becoming the number 1 download on Google Play with over 31,000 downloads and 11,000 registered users across the region. 2016 saw three million minutes of call time donated to migrant workers across UAE and KSA.
Sharay Shams, General Manager for Mobile Business Group, Lenovo Middle East, commented: “Following the success of Hadia Time initiative last year, we are excited to bring it back and continue spreading the spirit of Ramadan. As a company, we are committed to making people’s lives better through our innovative products.”

You can download the Hadia Time app from Google Play and make a real difference for the thousands who work day-in-day-out building our nation and only get to see their families once in a blue moon.
