To celebrate transfer of ownership of three super hangars from the ministry of defence at St Athan (in South Wales) to become Aston Martin’s second UK manufacturing plant, the company released a promotional video celebrating it’s 104 year history. Aston Martin’s rich heritage is brought together by 28 very special cars with a combined value of Dhs310 million.
The Aston Martin Vulcan is among the impressive line up showcasing a variety of true British motors including an A3, a DBR1, the One-77, Vantage, Rapide S and of course the two bond cars DB5 and a DB9 cruising side by side.
Darren Turner and Nicki Thiim, both of whom are Aston Martin Racing World Endurance Championship (WEC) drivers are accompanied by Chief Engineer Matt Becker, and barrow the cars for a spin while the guards snooze away. They mess about until caught by the real life President and CEO, Andy Palmer.
