Changes are afoot at LVMH

Parisian menswear powerhouse Berluti has finally got its man, with the appointment of Haider Ackermann as its new Creative Director.  

The designer, who is perhaps more known for the spellbinding creativity in his eponymous womanswear collection, as been given the reigns on LVMH’s main menswear brand effective immediately, the lable has announced.

“I am very happy to welcome Haider at Berluti, his talent and creative commitment make him the perfect choice for this position. I am sure that his vision will bring a unique opportunity to Berluti”, said Antoine Arnault, Chief Executive Officer of Berluti.

Haider Ackermann enrolled at the Royal Academy of fine Arts in Antwerp in 1994 and started his own label in 2003. He presented his first menswear collection in June 2013 in Paris.

Ackerman will present his first collection during Paris Men’s Fashion Week in January 2017.
