Despite a trophy laden career, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has often been underappreciated by fans of the Premier League. Before signing for Manchester United last month, the Swedish striker had won league titles in Italy, Spain, France and Holland, representing some of the most famous clubs, yet neighsayers continued to claim that he ‘has never done it in the England’.
While we’re not sure that that means exactly, we are pretty sure that the firey player will not take too long to answer his critics this season as he continues to settle into his new club under the guidance of manager Jose Mourinho.
Why are we so confident? Well, last night after just four minutes into his debut the mercurial striker scored a wonder goal, the likes of which he has become renowned for. While it was only a friendly game, we’re pretty sure there will be plenty more fireworks from Zlatan in the season ahead.
