What’s your favourite wardrobe item?
I think for me the shirt is a staple piece in my wardrobe. I feel complete wearing one. My favourite is a white tailored tuxedo shirt. Whenever I wear it, I feel like a million dollars.

How would you describe your style?
My style is classic with a directional twist. However, one thing that is non-negotiable for me is that I always need to look dapper.

What does your style say about you?
I am an outgoing, people person who likes to have a good time. That is quite evident in my style as I often like to incorporate colours and patterns in my looks. I don’t always plan what I want to wear for important occasions. It comes to me naturally based on my mood at the time.

What’s the best style advice you can give to our readers?
When you don’t know what to wear, look for the oldest item you have in your wardrobe and trim it up with a recently bought accessory.

What’s the best style advice you have ever been given?
A very close friend of mine once told me, “Always wear what makes you feel comfortable.” Even when everyone is telling you that you look good, if you’re not content with your outfit then it’s a definite no.

How has your style changed as you’ve got a bit older?
I think it has changed into being more of a ‘classic man’ style; I cannot say my style has changed much but rather got refined. If anything, the only thing that I can say has really changed is the way I style my hair and stubble.

Does your style change when you travel?
I think I am pretty consistent when it comes to how I present myself. I do, however, dress down when I go on an island holiday. One thing is for sure though, you will always see me in a shirt.

Which three essential wardrobe items can you not live without?
A shirt, a watch and a pair of loafers.
