The gravel-voiced, British actor is back to his best in Mechanic:Resurrection playing brooding ex-hitman, Arthur Bishop, who travels to some rather spectacular locales to kick ass and take names in order to save Jessica Alba from bad guys.
Yes, that does sound like the plot of practically every action movie, but who cares! Mechanic:Resurrection has Statham looking like a badass spouting nothing but cool one-liners, lots of over-stylised action shots and Jessica Alba!
