Movember divides opinion in the Esquire office. Not the actual annual event itself, as the brilliant campaign creating awareness for men’s health issues, we think, is blooming brilliant. It’s the men wandering around with questionable facial hair that really gets our goat. But the moustache doesn’t have to be cheesy or appear sleezy, it can actually be quite tasteful so we thought we’d showcase a few of the UAE’s dapper gents rocking lip foliage. Photographed by Beirut-born, Dubai-dwelling artist Nadine Kanso, these images of fashion designer Rami Al Ali, furniture designer Khaled Shaafar, luxury brand consultants, Ayman Fakkoussa and Dipesh Depala, branding expert, Khatch Mikaelian, and renowned fashion blogger and professional footballer, Andy Scott all prove that you don’t have to substitute your style for a good cause this month. A selection of images from this project will be shown at an exclusive exhibition held at Iris Dubai on November 11.
