When the Dubai summer heat is at its peak, staying cool and connected is hard to come by. But EcoFlow’s new Power Hat might just change that, combining sun protection with the power to charge your devices on the go.

The newly unveiled EcoFlow Power Hat comes equipped with eight solar panels and two charging outputs, ready to keep your gadgets alive while you’re off the grid. The brim features a 360-degree array of solar panels, and it offers both Type-A and Type-C charging ports – so you can charge two devices at once.

According to EcoFlow, the hat’s solar panels can fully juice up a 4,000mAh battery (roughly the average smartphone battery size) in three to four hours of decent sunlight. Not exactly speedy, but if you’re on long day at the beach, it’s a game-changer.

While packed with all that tech, the Power Hat is pretty lightweight at 370g. It’s also fully foldable, fitting snugly into your backpack. Plus, with an IP65 waterproof rating, you don’t have to worry about it getting wet during pool or beach trips.
