De’Longhi, one of the many names in the coffee world, unveiled two surprises. One is the big get, nabbing Brad Pitt as its ambassador. As the face of De’Longhi’s Perfetto campaign, Pitt appears in a video riding on his bike to get coffee beans and not of him getting ready for that bare-knuckle fight with Nespresso’s George Clooney.
The other surprise from De’Longhi, and one that is easily more attainable by the average man on the street, is the brand’s latest coffee machine (feel free to use the ‘che vuoi?’ gesture as you verbalise the name): La Specialista Prestigio.

Sounding like a spell from a Harry Potter novel, La Specialista Prestigio is a pump espresso coffee machine that promises the at-home barista experience – with a bevvy of functions that will appease even the hardcore coffee drinkers. There’s the Sensor Grinding tech that has a precision control for up to eight levels, and the Smart Tamping Station which allows for optimal pressure without messing up your kitchen.
The coffee machine’s Dynamic Pre-infusion feature improves coffee extraction by ensuring an “evenly distributed cover of water across the surface area of the coffee grounds”. If you like phallic-leaning latte art (or, at least, from what I see in my coffee order) there’s the My LatteArt Steam Wand which produces that velvety texture layer of foam, a perfect canvas for you to draw that penis-swan.
