Following on from last year’s impressive collaboration with streetwear staple ACRONYM, Asus (and its gaming sub-brand Republic of Gamers) has decided to take on the music world.
Asus worked with internationally-renowned DJ/Producer Alan Walker on the new G14, to produce a laptop full of quirky customisations and music-friendly features.
That’s no more apparent than with the look and feel of this laptop; you get a reflective belt on the top lid as well as custom Alan Walker icons via the spectre blue LED AniMe Matrix Display (which is further customizable).
The keyboard too has been Walker-fied with A/W keycaps on the A and W keys, alongside some bright blue accents. Oh, and there’s even a hidden message from the DJ himself, written in binary code on the back.

As per the last collab, those customisations are not just skin deep. The Alan Walker G14 comes along with a soundboard (it is literally part of the laptop’s packaging) that plugs into the laptop via USB-C. Once connected, would-be DJs have access to a DJ mixer and sampler, along with some custom-made sounds from the DJ to mess around with.
Ultimately, the Zephyrus G14 is a gaming laptop and so is filled to the brim with top-notch specs; you get a Ryzen 5900 HS CPU with liquid metal cooling, a GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU, and a 120Hz WQHD display. All that power will more than handle any music production software you might be using (and let you run games at top-level settings).
The Alan Walker x Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 AW SE is available to buy right now for around US$2,000. And you can further explore the collab via Asus’ dedicated site.
