We have seen smart glasses before, and the fact that we continue to see new brands enter the space pretty much confirms that they are here to stay. Hey, they’re even saying that Apple is working on a pair of them.
The latest in the space, however, is Razer. The company better-known for its RGB lit-up laptops and gaming peripherals has just released its Anzu range of smart glasses. And I love them.
You get two sets of lenses out the box, a clear pair that filters out blue light as well as a regular pair of sunglasses. Now unlike other smart glasses, Razer has effectively decoupled both sides of the glasses. That means each arm, for lack of a better word, works independently.

On the plus side, that means these are some of the lightest pairs of smart frames on the market. The downside being that you need to manually charge each one.
Under the hood, you get a 16 millimeter driver as well as touch responsive tap and gesture controls over each temple. Battery life is rated up to five hours, and then you will need to give them a little top up. And audio quality is pretty awesome.
