At a whopping US$5,900 for the ‘entry-level’ model, B&O’s Beovision is one heck of a TV

Bang & Olufsen has unwrapped several new televisions for its Contour, Harmony and Eclipse line of TVs. And like most Bang & Olufsen products, they are all quite ‘spensive.

The entry-level version at just 48-inches will set you back US$5,900. And if you wanted to upgrade the telly box to the top-of-the-line 85-inch version (that also comes with a motorized stand) it will set you back an eye-watering US$18,500.

Fortunately, you do get quite a bit of telly for that money.

The Contour is that ‘entry-level’ model. It looks rather slick, and Bang & Olfusen says that it will also double as a piece of interior design. According to the Danish audio company, the design is meant to be an all-in-one TV and music experience – hence the addition of that built-in soundbar at the bottom.

Next up is the Beovision Eclipse, which comes in 55 and 65-inch flavours. It also comes with a new sound center that features an integrated three channel setup. Those new models start at US$11,500.

Now for the top-spec version, the Beovision Harmony. It comes with wooden trim detailing, and is available in either r65 or 85-inch sizes. It also comes with a motorized stand.

The Contour and Eclipse lines are available right now via Bang & Olufsen boutiques, while those looking to pick up the top specced version will have to wait until February next year.
