Expect a huge camera upgrade (possibly to 108-megapixels)

Samsung announced earlier that its next ‘Unpacked Event’ (where it regularly reveals new flagship smartphones) will take place on February 11.

Following the launch of the Galaxy S10 last year, the new phone is expected to be dubbed either the Galaxy S11 or the Galaxy S20.

Samsung announced a teaser video, that doesn’t give much away.

There are also rumours that Samsung will unveil a new foldable smartphone during the same unpacked event.

Some Twitter users have attempted to figure out what the mysterious teaser could mean, with one saying that the first missing ‘A’ in ‘Galaxy’ reveals a new rectangular camera bump, while the second is the new foldable smartphone.

Apart from the mysterious foldable, the new S-series looks to get the usual spec upgrade (better processor, more RAM, etc.) but the camera looks to see a big upgrade – possibly up to 108-megapixels. Elsewhere, you can expect 5G connectivity built-in.

Regardless, we don’t have very long to wait for the new blower to know more.
