Apple has turned its flagship stores into augmented-reality experiences, featuring works from world-renowned contemporary artists.
Apple unveiled the digital displays via registration for free AR-powered’Today at Apple’ in-store sessions to introduce store-goers to augmented reality technology.
The Cupertino-based company has partnered up with seven internationally-known contemporary artists, including Nick Cave, Pipilotti Rist, Nathalie Djurberg and more. Their augmented reality creations are now being used to teach visitors the basics of Augmented Reality.
To see the exhibits, you simply need to walk into either the Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates stores, power up the Swift Playgrounds app and have a look around.
In cities such as London, San Francisco and Manhattan, Apple has even gone so far as to create interactive walks – that sees groups walk through multiple public spaces.
