In another another interesting mix of tech and tradition, Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer has announced two new models of its Connected Smart Watch. The new watches are the Bright Black Edition, measuring 45mm, and the smaller Golden Bright Edition at 42mm.

The Bright Black Edition stands out due to its size and use of contrasting materials. Its casing is made from black DLC sandblasted grade 2 titanium, a robust and lightweight material.

The watch also features a ceramic bezel for added durability, and gold accents have been added through lacquer and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) for a touch of color contrast. It comes with a strap that combines leather and rubber for a mix of aesthetics and practicality.

On the other side, the Golden Bright Edition, while smaller, brings a first for TAG Heuer. This is the debut of a golden PVD watch case in the Connected series. The case is paired with a rose gold PVD steel crown and a domed sapphire crystal for a cohesive aesthetic approach.

Both new models will come with an exclusive watch face, the TONOS. This addition aims to further differentiate these new models within the Connected series.

The new TAG Heuer Connected Smart Watches are set for release later this month. The larger Bright Black Edition is priced at US$2,750, while the smaller Golden Bright Edition will retail for US$2,300.
