Is that a phone in your pocket? Or are you just happy to see me?
Motorola has a new ‘rollable’ concept phone – the Motorola Rizr – that gets bigger or smaller depending on the occasion.
This device has a flexible OLED screen that can be expanded or contracted based on your needs. That means it can be a small pocketable device or a large tablet for watching movies, gaming, or doing office work.
The device has a hinge mechanism that enables the screen to expand, which also allows the device to adapt to different screen sizes. It’s similar to foldable smartphones that Samsung and Huawei released, but the rollable screen offers more flexibility.
The concept phone has a minimalist design with a thin aluminum frame and a leather back panel that gives it a premium look and feel. It also has a triple-lens camera system with LED flash, and the front camera is located under the screen. The device comes with a stylus that can be used for taking notes, drawing, or navigating the screen.
Motorola’s rollable concept phone is not yet available for purchase, and it’s unclear when it will be released.
Still, we’re a big fan of technology that adapts to the world around it.
