Samsung is set to hold its big annual smartphone launch event later today, and we have a few expectations.
Namely, Samsung will unveil the latest of its flagship lineup, the Galaxy S23 series.
For context, Samsung held a similar launch event in February 2022, where it unveiled the Galaxy S22 lineup, consisting of the S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra.
This year, rumours are rife that we’ll see the updated S23 lineup as well as a new range of laptops, specifically the Galaxy Book 3.
What to expect: Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra
The lineup is expected to consist of three devices: the standard Galaxy S23, the bigger S23 Plus, and the high-end Galaxy S23 Ultra.
According to leaked information, the first two devices will have similar designs and specs, while the third will have a unique design and a standout feature – a 200-megapixel main camera sensor.
What to expect: Samsung Galaxy Book 3
Samsung may also announce a new line of laptops alongside its latest Galaxy S smartphone event.
The rumored Galaxy Book 3 series is said to include as many as five models: the Galaxy Book 3, Book 3 360, Book 3 Pro, Book 3 Pro 360, and Book 3 Ultra.
The latter is expected to be the premium model, boasting a 16-inch 1800p OLED display, Intel i9-13900H CPU, Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage, with compatibility for Samsung’s S Pen stylus. Its touch screen is also rumored to be thinner and lighter due to integrated touch sensors.
