A bold new icon is coming to the roads of the UAE. Unveiled in Abu Dhabi in November, the new GMC Yukon is set to turn heads when it arrives in the region early next year. With a refreshed interior and exterior, the new Yukon exudes charisma and brings a renewed sense of excitement to an automotive legend.

Over the last three decades GMC’s flagship SUV has consistently dominated the eye with its impressive stature. But the new 2025 Yukon is poised to push the boundaries yet again with significant upgrades in the tech department, a dynamic design update for the exterior, and a new luxurious cabin that has been thoughtfully reinvigorated for today’s driver. Key features include unique grille patterns, liftgate badging, animated headlamps and taillamps, a panoramic sunroof, a 16.8 inch diagonal touchscreen, and an 8 inch diagonal rear climate control touchscreen on select trims.

In addition, the robust new Yukon is the stage for the first appearance of GMC’s first-ever Ultimate trim, a design code that combines sophistication with practicality to truly elevate the vehicle. Proudly bearing the first Ultimate badge, 2025 Yukon AT4 Ultimate recognises its rugged off-road styling but also keeps in mind its style. Important aspects of the contemporary AT4 Ultimate trim include a front skid plate, 20” wheels with all-terrain tyres and a power panoramic sunroof.

Draped in an elegant shade named Obsidian Rush, the AT4 Ultimate interior includes three rows of full-grain leather seating and Ash Burl wood accents, while both driver and passenger can enjoy massage functionality in their 16-way power adjustable seats. The AT4 Ultimate trim also presents GMC’s first Night Vision system for improved early object detection and added driver confidence in low light environments, plus 12.6 inch rear seat dual entertainment screens and a Bose 14-speaker surround system. Aside from the new AT4 Ultimate trim, the Yukon is also available in Elevation, the adventure ready AT4, and the premium Denali. In terms of power, the new Yukon is exclusively V8 and offers either a 5.3 litre engine with 355Hp, or a 6.2 litre engine with 420Hp – both are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Describing the Yukon as the “cornerstone” of GMC and “a symbol of power, boldness and luxury”, Furrukh Juwaid, Chief Marketing Officer of GMC Middle East & Africa, believes the 2025 model will redefine the brand. “The launch of the updated GMC Yukon marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, driven by one bold vision: More Power To You. This goes beyond horsepower and torque. It’s about delivering more in every way: more capability, more technology, more innovation and above all, more power to go wherever the road may lead.”
