Folgore is the Italian word for ‘lightning’, and the car lives up to its name, accelerating from 0 to 100kmh in just 4.1 seconds, ultimately reaching a top speed of 220kmh. One full charge of its battery enables the Folgore to cover 500kms, while an 80% charge can be achieved with just 29 minutes of plug-in time. New Aero Wheels provide supreme grip and stability while air spring suspensions that can be adjusted to five heights ensure a smooth ride and optimum aerodynamism.
Made entirely in Italy, the premium interior of the new Grecale Folgore features Econyl, a nylon fibre made from regenerated fishing nets and other plastics that is breathable, soft to the touch and environmentally conscious. A delicate embossed pattern appears on the dashboard that is illuminated by subtle ambient lighting.
Maserati’s iconic dashboard clock has been digitised to bring a contemporary allure to the Grecale Folgore. The analogue clock was a beloved symbol of Maserati’s heritage, and the updated model retains its timeless elegance yet steps into the future with a series of different themes and displays to choose from, while acting as the access point for the voice assistant. Digital climate controls such as temperature and fan speed can be easily adjusted using the new quick gesture system that is exclusive to Maserati.
Technology that is helpful but not intrusive can also be found in the new generation of MIA (Maserati Intelligent Assistant), a digital concierge that has a raft of helpful features to enhance every drive. Now optimised for Grecale Folgore, the graphically sophisticated MIA provides vehicle settings, weather, parking availability, drive modes, real time traffic reports, navigation, apps and more. Maserati knows every driver is different and MIA can therefore be customised for a personalised experience.
High quality Sonus Faber speakers provide exceptional sound clarity. The Grecale Folgore can accommodate up to two devices so just connect your smartphone wirelessly in a few seconds using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Interacting with the SUV’s digital interfaces is simple, thanks to an intuitive and ergonomically positioned 12.3” central touchscreen as well as an 8.8” comfort display just below.

The driving force behind the spirit of the Grecale Folgore comes from the wheel-to-wheel duels in Formula E in which the Maserati team competes on iconic circuits around the world. The arrival of the Grecale Folgore in the MEA region towards the end of the year coincides with the start of the new Formula E season. Beginning in Sao Paulo on December 7, the exciting racing series travels to 16 other cities across five continents including Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
