Recently, Tesla field engineers headed to Dubai to test the performance of their Model X Plaid in the peak summer heat.
The vehicle is being labelled as the highest performing SUV ever built and can be seen dune bashing and navigating rugged and uneven terrain in the desert.

On their journey, the Tesla team encountered camels and goats who were observing the field tests being conducted.

Tesla Model X features
Seating up to seven people, the Tesla Model X Plaid can go from 0-100 kilometres per hour in 2.6 seconds and has a range of 528 kilometres per hour. It is a tri-motor, all-wheel drive with torque vectoring that features three independent drive units. Each is equipped with a carbon fiber rotor that maintains full power output all the way to top speed.

As for the interiors, it features a 17 inch touchscreen that offers 2200 x 1300 resolution for movies, gaming and more.
There’s also multi-device Bluetooth capability, wireless and USB-C charging and enough power to quickly charge tablets and laptops. The 960 watt audio system consists of 22 speakers and offers active road noise reduction.
Safety features
The Model X has been constructed using high-strength architecture and a floor mounted battery pack for enhanced passenger protection and low rollover risk. It also features automatic emergency braking and a wide range of other safety features as part of its autopilot capability.
In general, the safety of electric vehicles has been questioned but Volvo, who’ve always been universally praised for the safety of their vehicles have entered the electric car scene and Esquire Middle East decided to see if the Swedish manufacturer continues to produce the worlds safest cars to drive.
