After months and months of teasing its new 4×4, GMC has unveiled the new all-electric 2022 Hummer EV. As you might expect, it’s a big boy.
The new hummer will run on three electric motors that will deliver 1,000 horsepower to its four-wheel drive. It also has decent range (unlike the original) and can go over 550 kilometers on a single charge. It also supports fast charging; which can give it enough juice to travel 160 kilometers on just ten minutes of charging.
Grunt under the hood aside, the Hummer is still very good off-road. You get six inches of adjustable suspension, along with 35-inch mud-terrain tires. The electric car will have a fording depth of roughly 60 centimeters and will be able to go over obstacles 45 centimeters tall.
Inside the cabin GMC has decked out the new hummer with a huge array of tech. You get a 13.4-inch dash infotainment system, along with a 12.3-inch instrument display.
