The Ghurka is an off-road jeep that looks more than a little like the G-Wagon

G-Wagons are incredible popular around the world (especially here in the Middle East) which is why they cost upwards of US$200,000.

But now there’s a more wallet-friendly version, courtesy of India’s Force Motors.

The all-new Ghurka is available either as a two or four door model, and produces 140-horsepower. Previous Ghurka models have finished India’s Rainforest Challenge, so it has off-road chops too. It has a 44-degree approach angle, and a 40-degree departure – so it can go up and down very steep things.

Obviously the best thing about the new motor though, is the price. A brand new 2020 Force Motors Ghurka costs just US$17,000.

Sure, it doesn’t exactly come with all the electronic bells and whistles as a Mercedes-Benz G-Class (although, it does have good air conditioning) it more than looks – and drives – the part.
