Only 15 of the class-leading motor will be made

Bentley has just unveiled a new edition of the Continental GT – which will be limited to just 15 motors.

The car was produced in honour of the record it set this summer at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in the United States.

The limited-edition is easy to spot with its Radium green livery straight from Bentley’s personalization arm, as well as an Alcantara interior and carbon fibre body kit. Buyers of the new edition also have the option of adding the ‘100’ logo on the front grill in celebration of the brand’s centenary.

Under the hood, you get the same spec car that broke the record: a 635-horsepower engine that will go from 0-100kph in just 3.7-seconds. It has a max speed of 333kph.

The model will be available to order later this month, however a price has yet to be disclosed (although, expect it to be eye-wateringly expensive).

This is not the first time Bentley has created a limited-edition GT. Earlier in the year it launched a Continental GT Convertible in honour of the brand’s 1929 Blower No. 1, as well as a Continental GT Number 9 – produced in memory of the first Bentley to set a lap record at Le Mans.
