The fastest convertible Lamborghini to ever be up for auction

Let’s face the facts: you have always wanted a Lamborghini. They’re one of the world’s most luxurious and sought-after vehicles and are a sure-fire way to garner respect (read: envy) from anyone with a pair of working eyes. But let’s also face the facts: you aren’t going to get many chances in your life to actually own one.

And that’s why the fact that Silverstone Auctions will be auctioning a Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster at the Salon Privé Sale on September 3 at Blenheim Palace in England is such a big deal.

With only 500 of these unique convertibles created, this Lamborghini is the first of its kind to ever be up for auction. Looking like the sort of car that would co-star alongside David Hasselhoff in a Knight Rider reboot, the Aventador is finished in a chrome metallic coating with an aesthetic black and red cockpit fit for the Hoff himself. The interior is equally unique – adorned with red seat belts, carbon fibre floor mats, and seats all set with Rosso stitching and dramatic detailing. Being a convertible, the interior of this vehicle is essential in wowing just about everyone whose unworthy mortal eyes fall upon it.

Having only covered 59 delivery kilometres, it’s also essentially brand new and can probably be yours for somewhere between £480,000 and £520,000. Which, let’s be honest, is quite expensive. But this is a rare opportunity that will likely never crop up again. Plus, with a top speed of 217mph we’re pretty sure you could run away from all of your life’s struggles (and debt) in this bad boy.

Yes, there is more to life than money, and a car (no matter how incredible it may be) can’t necessarily grant you eternal happiness. But we’d sure as hell rather be unhappy in a Lamborghini than unhappy in a 15-year old hatchback. And we’re sure you would be too.
