HTC’s new One M8 is now available in the Middle East – and is already setting the standard

Taiwanese tech company HTC has long been championed as the makers of the best mobile phones on the planet, taking on and often beating principal Android rival Samsung and the various Apple iPhone incarnations. The dual-SIM HTC One M8 is its new flagship phone and, like its predecessor the One, it is set to set the standard for 2014. Engadget describe it as “a great smartphone that does a lot of fantastic things”.
Design plays a much stronger role in the upgraded model, with a curved one-piece, brushed aluminium case – rendered in either gold or, our preferred option, silver – cradling the screen’s Gorilla Glass.
It’s the tech that really helps it stand out, though, with its UltraPixel Duo Camera, BoomSound dual-frontal speakers and a host of Microsoft applications, including Office 365 and Lync instant messaging. The dual SIM, moreover, offers seamless integration of work and play.
