Apple is stepping up its game in Saudi Arabia, announcing the launch of its first online store in summer 2025. For the first time, Saudi customers will be able to shop Apple’s full product lineup in Arabic, directly from the company, with all the perks (think personalized support and convenient shopping options).

But that’s just phase one. Starting in 2026, Apple plans to open several flagship stores in the Kingdom, including a show-stopping location in Diriyah, the UNESCO World Heritage site.

What’s in It for Saudi Shoppers?

The online store means better access to Apple’s products without third-party markups, complete with Arabic-language customer support. When the physical stores roll out, they’ll deliver Apple’s signature hands-on experiences, plus access to in-person experts to help you find the perfect iPhone or fix your tech issues.

Apple’s Footprint in Saudi Arabia

Apple isn’t new to the Kingdom. Its Developer Academy in Riyadh, launched in 2021, has already trained nearly 2,000 women in coding and app development. Alumni are now behind a growing number of apps on the App Store, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s booming tech scene. Earnings for Saudi developers have skyrocketed by 1,750% since 2019.

The company also recently ran its first coed Apple Foundation Program, a crash course in app development with a focus on gaming. More programs are expected in 2025.
