- The current re-boot of the Jumanji franchise is set to get its very own videogame
- The stars of the new film – including Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan – are all expected to star in the game
- The game will be released on November 15, across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC
- Release comes a month before the next Jumanji flick hits cinemas worldwide
The re-boot based on the film franchise that’s based on a boardgame that’s based on a children’s book is getting its own video game.
The Jumanji film – which is getting a second chapter set for December 2019 release – will be making its console debute in November.
The current crop of characters, including Dr Smolder Bravestone and Professor Shelly Obeaon – characters played by Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black – will also be featured in the licensed video game.
Jumanji: The Video Game is set for release on November 15, across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
It will be the first majour project from UK-based studio Funsolve, which was founded in 2015. Previously, the studio leads has worked on games such as Angry Birds and Sonic & All-Stars Racing.
The first Jumanji movie debuted in 1995, and revolved around a magical board game based on a 1981 children’s book.
