Microsoft has unveiled the first commercial for its next-generation Xbox Series S and Series X consoles.
It tapped Get Out actor Daniel Kaluuya for the video, which sees the actor travelling from his at-home entertainment center to several locations featured in many of the Xbox’s most notable games.
As he puts on his headset, he is transported to locatiosn such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Halo Infinite (let’s just gloss over the fact that Halo will not actually be available when the console launches, shall we?).
The video features Labrinth’s ‘No Ordinary’ soundtrack.
Recent,y Sony also debuted its trailer for the new PS5, which featured the new controller heavily.
The Xbox Series X will be out mid October. Here’s how you can pre-order one in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
In other news, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is almost here, and to celebrate Ubisoft has dropped the official story trailer ahead of the UAE launch on November 10.
The trailer focusses on Eivor and his friend Sigurd, who appears to be the leader of a Norwegian clan. It appears the clan can no longer stay in Norway, and must push into England instead. The clan will do whatever they need to in making England their new home, which will be a bit of a challenge thanks to their penchant for pillaging.
That sets up the story which will no doubt include quite a lot of historical events and figures, and ultimately tie in Assassin’s Creed’s overarching plot of the Assassins vs the Templars.
