Arab gamers will be delighted with the news that Egyptian megastar Mohammed Ramadan will be a playable character in the upcoming release of the hugely successful mobile game Garena: Free Fire.
The partnership with Free Fire (Garena’s first self-developed game) and Ramadan marks a significant tie-ups within the gaming industry, as the actor will become the first ever playable Arab character in the Battle Royale game.
While Garena had previously partnered with Cristiano Ronaldo, the new partnership with Mohammad Ramadan builds on its strategy to continuously bring more targeted content for a global audience. The introduction of this new character is part of the Free Fire’s effort to offer a unique and localized gameplay experience and tailor its content to appeal to gaming fans in MENA.
Mohammad Ramadan has gained popularity for his acting career in action-films and television series hits such as Al Ostoura (The Legend) and Zelzal (Earthquake), and El Prince (The Prince). He has also become a prominent figure in the music industry recently with releases such as “Number 1”, “Mafia”, “El Malek”, “Ya Habibi’ and ‘Ana El Batal’.
