Toss a coin to your smartphone

Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher series has already conquered video games and Netflix. Now, it is looking at augmented reality.

The Witcher is destined to become an AR game on iOS and Android. The game – which works similarly to Pokemon Go! – will let players become a monster slayer.

The game is being produced by Spollo studio, which is part of publisher CD Projekt Red (the guys behind The Witcher series of games).

The app will use real-life weather conditions and the time of day, as well as location. You will have to utilize those conditions plus your knowledge of monsters in order to slay them.

As per Witcher guidelines, you’ll also need to come prepared; the app will allow you to craft potions and oils to help fight.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is expected to launch later this year.
