The goose simulator is destined for consoles in time for the festive season

Untitled Goose Game – something of a cross between Grand Theft Auto and a Goose Simulator – is making the jump from PC and Nintendo Switch over to PlayStation and Xbox later this month.

The rather silly adventure sees the player take on the role of a goose, causing trouble in a polite English village.

Players have a checklist of pranks and other silly things to complete, in order to finish each level. The general idea is to inconvenience and annoy the village’s human residents as much as possible.

The concept has become something of a darling on the indie game scene and has attracted a huge fan community. It even caught the attention of Chrissy Teigen, whose enthusiasm for the game helped stoke interest in the game.

While there are no exact dates for when Untitled Goose Game will land on consoles, information gathered by data-mining sights point to both PS4 and Xbox versions launching simultaneously.

That said, game developer House House and publisher Panic, Inc. have previously done a deal with the Epic Game Store and Nintendo to keep the game exclusive. So perhaps a more staggered launch may be in order.
