The Epic Games Store is giving away both Lego Batman and the Batman Arkham series of games until the 26th of September. It’s doing so in honour of Batman day.
The three Lego Batman games and the Batman Arkham Asylum trilogy are being given away to existing Epic Games Store subscribers. The six-pack giveaway will last until September 26th, after another set of games will be on offer.
The “Batman Arkham” pack consists of”Batman: Arkham Asylum” (2009), “Batman: Arkham City” (2011), and “Batman: Arkham Knight” (2015). Batman Arkham Origins is sadly missing, as it was developed by another studio.
Epic Games is also expected to unveil some secret Batman goodies inside its Battle Royale franchise, Fortnite.
Free game giveaways have been a staple of the Epic Games Store since it debuted last year. Unlike other digital storefronts, Epic manages to convince publishers to give away games buy subsidizing every download (thereby guaranteeing games-makers revenue, despite giving the game away for free).
While the Epic Games Store has proven slightly controversial over the last nine months, it’s certainly popular with users.
