The Palm Jumeirah has just unveiled a brand new Greek restaurant called KYMA Beach which brings the sophistication of Mediterranean coastal dining to it’s West Beach shores.

Created in collaboration with The St. Regis Dubai, KYMA is a brand-new concept from the award-winning RIKAS Hospitality Group, who have created dining experiences such as La Cantine du Faubourg, Ninive, Mimi Kakushi and Twiggy, to name a few.

When translated from Greek, the word kyma means “wave” and is inspired by the multicultural yet vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean.

Drawing inspiration from the Greek way of life, where enjoyment is partnered with a focus on connecting body, mind, and soul, KYMA aims to introduce the city to a dreamlike experience.

KYMA’s refined dining experience

Those seeking a refined dining experience in a Mediterranean-chic setting will find their refuge in the restaurant side of KYMA Beach.

Gilles Bosquet, the corporate chef at RIKAS Hospitality Group, designed the menu to
incorporate much-loved traditional Greek tastes with a crisp Mediterranean influence. Guests will be able to choose from authentic dishes that will allow them to embark on a journey to Greece.

From the restaurant menu, some of their standout main course offerings are the wild mushroom truffle orzo, carabineros basil pasta and their own signature KYMA Moussaka which consists of minced beef & lamb paired with eggplant drizzled in béchamel sauce.

On the poolside menu, guests can choose from a wide selection of sushi rolls, grilled meats, wraps and burgers before indulging in their dessert menu offerings such as greek yoghurt ice cream which comes with a choice of honey walnuts or sour cherry.

Ultimately, the goal of KYMA is to help guests liberate themselves from the monotony of routine and to help them relax, dine and sip under the palm trees and sunny breezes of Dubai.

Dress codes and opening hours

The dress code at KYMA Beach is either smart casual or appropriate beachwear and the restaurant is open daily from 12pm until 1pm while the pool is open from 10am until sunset. If you’re interested in learning more about KYMA Beach or want to make a reservation, you can visit their website here.
