LPM has just kicked-off one of the most luxurious delivery services in the city

LPM Restaurant and Bar is widely regarded as one of the best restaurants in Dubai, if not the Middle East.

It has sat at the top of the Esquire‘s Best Restaurants in the Gulf list since it began three years ago, and is ordinarily referenced as the go-to place for fancy French food served without fuss or pomposity.

But these are not ordinary times.

COVID-19 continues to affect all our lives, and that’s no more applicable when it comes to restaurants – many of which have been forced to shut down entirely. Fortunately, some innovative restaurants have figured out a way to get their food to hungry punter’s doors.

LPM has partnered up with Deliveroo to send its delightful Nicoise food around the city of Dubai, and it’s doing so with the restaurant’s customary style.

LPM: What’s the vibe?

Deliveries are handled by Deliveroo driver, who presents food in LPM-branded cloth bags (the type of bags you’re definitely going to keep after mealtime).

Each order comes along with a special message from the team at the restaurant, a few cuttings of fresh lavender and your very own ‘French Riviera’ themed Spotify playlist (just scan it with your phone, and you’ll be tapping your foot to ‘C’este si bon!’ in no time.

LPM: How’s the food?

No matter how good the food is when it comes out the kitchen, delivery does strange things to a dish. Fortunately, it seems the team at LPM thought ahead and only offer plates that will survive the journey to your living room.

Dishes include some LPM staples; burrata, prawns with olive oil, and seared lamb – each prepared to ensure it arrives hot (but not overcooked) at the end of its long trip to your living room.

The food is good. Very good. And that’s despite arriving in cardboard and plastic cartons.

LPM: The verdict

These are not ordinary times, but for those who regularly visit LPM they needn’t be without familiarity. The restaurant’s new delivery service is packed full of quality, with luxurious little touches (such as those bags) that really up the ante of what a luxury food delivery could be.

LPM: How do I order?

LPM has partnered up with Deliveroo to help with ordering – so you simply need to flick open your app to order.
