The first bite of Kibbeh, the slow pull of a cheese Kunafa, the scent of fresh saffron and cardamom rising from a bowl of Umm Ali—it’s something everyone waits for as they mark the end of their fast during Ramadan. And for the entire Holy Month, Park Hyatt Dubai’s Montblanc Majlis by Ninive is serving up an iftar and suhoor experience that not only offers those delicacies but also a chance to savour slow dining at a location where the maison’s quiet elegance sets the tone.
The pop-up is located at the property’s lush Palm Garden. Montblanc known for its expertise in precision and design, has applied that knack into its activation at Park Hyatt Dubai, completely transforming the outdoor space. With meticulous attention gone into each element, the Montblanc Majlis by Ninive draws inspiration from a traditional majlis setting while incorporating the maison’s signature aesthetic.

The menu is also just as well thought out as the setting. With a rotation of three distinct iftar menus, guests can expect a fresh experience each time they return. Designed by the award-winning team at Ninive, the dishes celebrate the flavours of Middle Eastern cuisine.
The meal begins with a spread of traditional starters, including Red Mullet Shorba, Kibbeh, Baba Ganoush, and Sweet Pepper Muhammara, alongside a selection of soups, salads, and cold and hot mezze. The mains pay tribute to the region’s rich culinary heritage, featuring dishes such as Braised Lamb Shoulder Tashreeb, Chicken Musakhan, and Seabream Tagine. Meanwhile, live cooking stations serve up Lamb Kofta, Grilled Tiger Prawns, and Shish Tawook.

For dessert, think of Middle Eastern classics, such as Umm Ali, Sticky Date Pudding, cheese Kunafa, and an assortment of oriental sweets.
For those who prefer more of an intimate gathering with their loved ones, the majlis also offers a seated suhoor service, open to guests 10:30pm onwards. The experience takes place at the property’s Fountain Garden with a live oud performance. Following a sharing-style menu, this dishes include starters such as Mast-O-Khiar, and chicken Pastilla, while mains feature highlights like Couscous Royal, Wagyu Beef Skewers, Manti, and Grilled Sea Bass.
The night ends on a sweet note—Frozen Yoghurt, fresh watermelon, and, of course, more Umm Ali.
While Dubai has no shortage of extravagant Ramadan setups each year, the Montblanc Majlis by Ninive at Park Hyatt Dubai is in a league of its own.
