The bays and coves of St. Tropez have a globally glamourous reputation for a reason. They offer up a summer version of what ‘the good life’ should be with a very European mixture of elegance and hedonism—and, boy, is it good. So while those summer haunts have already swept up the aftermath of their ‘end of season’ parties, for us here in the glorious Gulf, the good season is just getting started.

Enter, Gigi Rigolatto, the luxurious St. Tropez beach club that has just opened a stunning new branch in Dubai. Offering to extend that taste of ‘the good life’ to us for the foreseeable future.

So what does this ‘good life’ consist of? we hear you ask. How about an impossibly chic beach-side location—at the all-new J1 Beach property (ex-La Mer)—a fine dining restaurant, Bellini bars, a series of private cabanas additional privacy or special events and even a kid’s club.

Sure, Dubai’s beach club game is well known, but what sets Gigi’s apart is in its attitude. Combining that aforementioned elegance-meets-hedonism, the concept is built to capture the Italian ‘alla grande’ spirit—of living life to the full, indulging in the art of indulgence.

Set up by the Rikas Group—the clever folks behind the hugely popular venues Twiggy, La Cantine du Faubourg, Mimi Kakushi and Tagomago—Gigi’s restaurant will seat 120 seats, complemented by two additional terraces and a garden. Guests will be able to unwind by the Bellini Bar, dip in the swimming pool, or relax on plush sunbeds, all while enjoying a DJ-curated playlist. For added privacy and comfort, Gigi offers four exclusive cabanas and, importantly, it will have a dedicated kid’s club designed to delight (and occupy) young guests, so that the parents can have some much-needed downtime.

We think we’ll rather enjoy this ‘good life’.
