Burger lovers in Dubai know—High Joint in Al Manara is a must visit, especially when you need your fix in the middle of the night.

And now that Saudi’s cult fried chicken spot Albaik has opened in Dubai, Dubai sis returning the favour—High Joint is opening in Riyadh in mid-November, with multiple locations set to open.

There are also pop-ups planned across the Saudi Arabian city.

High Joint was founded by three Emiratis three years ago as a ‘hole-in-the-wall- in Al Manara, now operating two locations in Dubai, with another on the way. It also offers city-wide delivery at the moment, and has collaborated with chefs such as Reif Othman and brand such as Puma, and been named one of the best burgers in town.

For Saudi, High Joint will create an all-new menu that “takes into consideration the different audience and flavour preferences of Saudis, while paying tribute to its roots by putting Dubai’s favourite burgers on the menu, including best sellers such as the High Jamz, Waffle Waffle, The H, and the High Chicken,” said a statement from High Joint.

“We started High Joint from our very tiny in size but huge in character branch in Al Manara. A purely homegrown brand by three enthusiastic Emirati food lovers who wanted to bring people together from all over the world from that lovely and simple food – meat between two buns. From very early on, we intended to reverse the paradigm of importing burger brands from the USA and the rest of the world to exporting a Dubai homegrown brand across this region and to other countries around the world,” said Dr. Hamad Al Awar, Founder of High Joint.

“We look forward to sharing our explosive high flavours in Riyadh as well as learning from the people of Saudi and what they love to eat, to ultimately make High Joint more diverse and international in its flavours and creativity,” he added.

High Joint prepars its burgers prepared using a mix of 100% fresh, 100% GMO and antibiotic-free premium quality prime cuts that are all grinded in-house.
