When it’s Drake’s birthday, everyone gets a gift – apparently. To celebrate the music superstar’s 38th birthday, on Thursday, October 24, Drake has announced that he will be “hooking everyone up” with a free slider from participating Dave’s Hot Chicken outlets in Dubai, Doha and Riyadh.
For those new to the Dave’s Hot Chicken game, a ‘slider’ is a full size sandwich, which can be yours for free if you are willing to head to one of the region’s Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurants.
“We love that Drake is choosing to celebrate his birthday with Dave’s guests,” said Bill Phelps, Dave’s Hot Chicken CEO. “As this brand expands from coast-to-coast and abroad, it’s the authenticity of the food, founders, team members, and investors, like Drake, which ensure we continue to blow peoples’ minds.”

When can you get the free sliders?
The free slider will be available to redeem on Thursday, October 24, from 11am to 9pm (local time) at participating Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurants in the GCC. In order to be eligible you must show that you follow @daveshotchickengcc on Instagram to the store staff at the following restaurants in the GCC:
Dubai
- JBR
- Motor City
Doha
- Place Vendome Mall
- Villagio Mall
Riyadh
- Tahlia Street
- Othman Bin Affan street
Unfortunately, it will not be applicable in The Dubai Mall restaurant.
Drake was the first celebrity to invest in Dave’s Hot Chicken in 2021. After his endorsement, actor Samuel L. Jackson endorsed the restaurant, followed by Maria Shriver, Michael Strahan and R&B singer Usher.
