Jones the Grocer has opened the doors to its sixth Dubai location, at Emirates Golf Club.
The popular café – which hails from Australia – is best known for its breakfasts, but the new location will also be open from 6 am to 10 pm. It’s also fully licensed, which means punters can get their drink on while chowing down on Jones’ flavoursome fair.

For those familiar with Emirates Golf Club, this new venue sits in the place previously occupied by Spike Bar, on the ground floor of the Clubhouse building. There’s both inside and outside dining, a lounge seating area for coffee-drinkers, as well as a kids play area.

Jones the Grocer was set up in 1996, in the most Australian-sounding town ever; Woollahra. It now has outlets across Australia, Cambodia, New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand (this is actually the 24th Jones worldwide).

The restaurant’s signature dishes appear across the menu at Emirates Golf Club, including a traditional English breakfast, sesame labneh, slivered almonds and sumac dukkah with poached eggs, as well as asparagus on toasted sourdough.

There’s also a range of classic cheese and charcuterie boards, as well as sandwiches and soups for lunches and light bites. Main dishes for lunch and dinner include pan-roasted barramundi with olive oil mash, as well as the classic Jones Wagyu burger.
Jones the Grocer is open daily 6am-10pm. Emirates Golf Club, Emirates Living, www.dubaigolf.com/emirates-golf-club (04 417 9999).
