Dubai’s best Balkan burek phyllo pies are coming to Time Out Market.
21grams Balkan Bakery & Deli has joined the 17 other Dubai-born brands at the Time Out Market Dubai, opening on November 5.

Founded in 2017 by Serbian restauranteur Stasha Toncev, the spot offers fresh hand-crafted traditional Balkan dishes and baked goods, with spins on classic family recipes.

The menu, with head chef Urosh Mitrashinovic at the helm, will feature 21grams’ signature all-day breakfast dishes including a Balkan breakfast and Komplet egg, three different phyllo pie options – goat’s cheese, beef bacon and honey, spinach, and pulled beef – alongside deli small plates such as ajvar, urnebes, and hummus of the day.
In addition to a selection of salads, including Greek salad, fasolia salad and farmer’s salad, 21grams will also introduce a brand-new cold cuts platter.
“We are thrilled to join the very best Dubai has to offer at Time Out Market Dubai. Time Out Market opened breakfast just last month every weekend, with live entertainment showcasing musical performances, and kids’ arts & crafts booths.
New dishes included BB Social Dining’s twist on eggs Benedict with toasted bao buns and fresh black truffle, Local Fire by The Mattar Farm’s brisket burnt ends, and Pickl’s staggering breakfast bap. Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in Long Teng’s creamy egg custard buns, Nightjar’s crème brûlée pancakes, and Scoopi’s banana and peanut butter waffles.
