The newly-opened Address Beach Resort at JBR just got an official Guinness World Record

If you’re in Dubai or travelling to it soon, you can now add ‘swim at the highest outdoor infinity pool in the world’ to your bucket list.

The Address Beach Resort at JBR in Dubai just got an official Guinness World Record for the “highest outdoor infinity pool”, 294 meters above the ground on the 77th floor.

The pool is 560 square meters in area, with a 75 meter long area that guests can swim in, with views across the Marina, along the coast to Bluewaters Island, and over towards the Burj Al Arab as well.

How can you go? Unfortunately, you can’t just rock up or buy a special pool past just yet. The hotel will only allow in-house guests to swim in the pool.

The hotel is at the end of JBR Walk and has 214 hotels and suites, as well as more than 900 serviced and residential apartments.

The hotel opened in December.

If you’d like to just check it out, however, book at the Zeta Seventy Seven rooftop restaurant, an Asian food spot, which just opened featuring sushi, poke bowls and Wagyu sirloin as well as other Asian-inspired dishes, where you can get a view of the pool on your way in or out.

Built on the last plot of land on JBR Walk, the Address Beach Resort offers 217 hotel rooms and suites, 443 serviced apartments and 478 residential apartments.
