There’s something in the air. Can you feel it? That would be summer, barreling towards us like a tonne of bricks (and hot bricks at that). Fortunately, it’s not all bad news as Emirates, FlyDubai and Air Arabia have just announced discounted tickets for the summer.
All three airlines have announced travel deals for flights out of Dubai and Sharjah and going to such far-flung destinations as Asia, Europe and the Americas. You can now bag economy return tickets for less than AED2,000 to some of the carrier’s most popular destinations.
The discounted fares apply to popular destinations in Asia, the Middle East, the United States, South America and Europe.
For Emirates Airlines, would-be passengers have the next four days to enjoy the discounted rates. Some of their more popular destinations for the summer sale include Colombo (AED2,000), Singapore (AED1,945), Clark (AED1,895), Manilla (AED1,795), Amman (AED1,695) and Cairo (AED1,445).
Flights to Europe cost a little more than that – just above the AED2,000 mark. Some of the better deals include Prague (AED2,345), Frankfurt (AED2,485), Zurich (AED2,495) and Rome and Vienna (AED2,595). The best deals to the United States include Dubai to Boston (AED4,595), Chicago (AED4,695) and Los Angeles (AED 4,745).
Flyers can book now as long as they travel before November 30, 2019.
There are even better deals to be had at FlyDubai (including flights to Astana, Baku and Beirut all coming in under AED1,000) and Air Arabia (including flights to Mumbai and Istanbul for under AED1,000).
