Bulgari opened its 5th hotel last night, at a star-studded reception at the newly-launched Bulgari Resort Dubai.
The hotel sits on its very own seahorse-shaped island, and the launch party was attended by all manner of celebrity and supermodel; all suitably dressed in Bulgari’s most beautiful watches and jewellery.
The guest list included model Bella Hadid, actress Alicia Vikander and model Jon Kartajarena. Regional celebrities included Lebanese star Nadine Nassib Njeim, Mona Zaki and husband Ahmed Helmy, and TV host Wissam Breidi.
Singer Matteo Brancaleoni, one of Italy’s brightest jazz stars, regaled guests with the best songs in his repertoire, while elsewhere guests looked on at ballet performances, acrobats and other life music. Food was put together by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito, the curator of Bulgari’s Il Ristorante.
According to Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin, “This is a momentous day for us here at Bulgari, to launch in one of the most talked about cities in the world.”
“We hope this architectural masterpiece, not only the stunning design of the resort by our architectural team but the magnificence of a seahorse-shaped island will truly put The Bulgari Resort Dubai on the map as being one of the city’s most iconic destinations”.
