Apple has always had a way with marketing, and without its iconic iPod commercials, who’s to say the iPod would have ever taken off as it did?
After all, each advertisement seemed to turn whatever song it chose into a hit, and created a vibe that each buyer tried to recreate, either in public or private. Be honest, either you have recreated the #1 ad on this list, or you’re lying.
As Apple finally discontinues the device, here’s our list of the best commercials for the device ever made.
And no, we didn’t include U2 on the list, as much as we love that “Vertigo” ad. They lost all their goodwill when they dumped that extremely mid album on our devices a while back.

The game-changing music player debuted all the way back on October 23, 2001, with then-CEO of Apple Steve Jobs, in his trademark turtleneck and New Balances, announced what came to be true.
“With iPod, Apple has invented a whole new category of digital music player that lets you put your entire music collection in your pocket and listen to it wherever you go,” said Jobs.
“With iPod, listening to music will never be the same again.”
The player does live on though, just as the dinosaurs purportedly live on through birds, as it directly evolved into the iPhone so many of us have in our pockets today. So long, ol’ buddy. You still are with us, somehow.
