Spotify wrapped is the one time of year where everyone wants everyone to know what they listened to, and one continuously has to ask: who cares? Well, because it’s fun, I guess. Although this video below pretty much sums up what the overall consensus really is.
While pretty much 90% of the people you know reposted flooding images of Drake, Lana Del Rey, and The Weeknd, Saudi Arabia had one artist who topped the list.
‘Ayed’ is Spotify’s 2024 Top Arab Artist in Saudi Arabia
This year, Ayed became the most-listened-to Arab artist in Saudi for the first time. Ayed’s top markets over the past 28 days spanned Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Indonesia, and Morocco.
Ayed’s tracks “Lammah” and “Rdy” also secured spots among Spotify Wrapped’s most-streamed Arabic songs in Saudi Arabia, with both hitting the third and fourth positions, and has set the stage for the future the Khaleeji genre, cementing his place among the region’s musical greats.
